"content": "Regardless of whether Apple's response about privacy is self-serving, the EU should draw the line on where interoperability stops. It's a two-edged sword in terms of privacy and cybersecurity. This is not a defense of Apple. Meta is a well-known privacy poacher and will do anything to get its hands on user data, wherever they may be. You are enabling a recreation of the Cambridge Analytica fiasco. Then again, this assumes you care about people's privacy. Maybe you don't.\n\nApple and Meta trade barbs over interoperability requests https://www.theregister.com/2024/12/19/apple_meta_interoperability/ nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyqpqp4kx439znnv7pejldzr3zs4dxusjcu6n6r4vkr40rwxcrl8hp77qcyl2nm #Apple #Meta #privacy nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyqpq9ly5nycz3gdcehlrtkhp6g75vlg65209ytzzansyhsqdpnzmcpyqke4kmp",
