If he likes the Turtles, you can always do TMNT: Shredder's Revenge. Story Mode is an easier mode for folks. And it's a lot of fun, especially if he already likes older beat 'em ups.

Capcom Beat 'Em Up Bundle comes with a bunch of older Capcom arcade games which are fun. And since they are arcade classics, you can "add more quarters" to each player so you can just keep playing / experience the beat 'em up games.

A lot of the old arcade classic collections have that option too. It's the only way I can sometimes beat 'em myself
