I remember, mid 2010's? Someone had written about the number of "Facebook friends" which was deemed manageable.

We can't have meaningful long-lasting exchanges with a lot.
I honestly think that it will be about curating.
So there will be a use-case for the feed, and, God willing, a preference for curating the exchanges were time and effort will be worth the expense.
