Thanks all good points! I do wonder if switching is usually more incentivized for positive reasons (eg easier / faster / better) than for avoiding a possible negative (censorship - which for all compsci or Eng research areas I follow is not an issue).
Perhaps markdown notes, with media hosted on servers / relays run by research groups / institutions are an interesting entry point.
Then when jacks bounty is attained, decentralized GitHub over nostr.
