Coming up on 36 hours of fasting...
The ideal zone for Autophagy: where your cells disassemble junk parts and repurpose them into usable cell parts.
At 36 hours you get 300% increase in autophagy.
At around 72 hours fasted, you achieve "Max Autophagy". But I've found I lose mental sharpness on day 2.
A day and a half is that Goldilocks zone for me.
Apparently, on a day-to-day basis, 16 hours is best.
I'm usually between 12-14 hours most days, but I don't track religiously.
