"content": " if I may, the idea that he claimed to be the angel of Light is something that was inferred in the middle ages. Just like the adoption of Hell being this horrendous Inferno comes from European pastors / preachers trying to draw crowds in by talking about this horrific hell. In the original text, second Corinthians says that he masquerades as the angel of light. It's alluded to that he would say and do anything for personal gain , I.E convinced people he is what he isn't. Common theory, Come and believe and common knowledge are almost always different from the actual text",
