Good for him, I’m glad! I guess it shows mentalities evolving. Back when I first came here, attending Ottawa U, I’d make it a point to speak French first but sort of gave up after a while. Getting snotty replies at best was common and gets tiring real fast. Shout-out to the girl at Laura Secord in the Rideau Centre who literally laughed at me!
Granted, I never went out of downtown and I know Vanier is better…
