Dinner was in a hurry because that chap from the garage yesterday was coming to look at the car.
He’d never driven an automatic before, so that was quite hilarious, as was when he “tested” the brakes and did an accidental emergency stop, but he loved it.
*And* I won haggling, so that he had a moment of panic before grasping at the quarter tank of petrol as a reason to pay me more than the money he’d carefully “only brought”, so that he had to go and get another £50 out of his sister’s car.
Now I just have to do paperwork.
