Back in 2008 I told someone about adding a bit of good vinegar to strawberries. I remember this vividly because they were somewhat shaken 😂 An Italian student said that it brings out the sweetness. A student from Surinam added they often sprinkle some salt on an orange, for instance. Way back in 1980-something I loved eating apples (sweet, tart apples like Elstar) with mustard but was considered 'weird' and no one wanted to try, except for a school friend who loved it!
