I hate the printer cartel.
Epson just deliberately bricked my printer. The new inkjet cartridges have a new chip in them that makes them incompatible with older versions of the printer they are designed to fit.
So I just spent $$$ buying new inkjet cartridges and they will not work in my printer (even though they are supposed to) because my printer is more than a few years old.
Someone needs to make generic printers that use generic ink. But the printer cartel won't let that happen.
