Honestly the whole TCG concept bothers me because I so badly want it to be good but I think it just can't be. There is no way to achieve that dream of a player having their own unique style... Unless you write some rules that allow players to effectively add custom cards. You've gotta have *something* that can be broken down to such a degree that you can't predict the results of every possible combination, without it being stupidly OP, and that's hard. But maybe not impossible.
