I realized I have no idea who "holds" the RSS or Atom specs. And what the process is for "updating" them. There is no REP (RSS Enhancement Procedure) and maybe there should be? But also is this the best way to add stuff to a standard? I fear not... What living standards/specs/protocols do we have that are most dear to us? And how do they grow or shift or adapt?
