I agree 90 % with this advice.
The internet is a tool; you either earn or learn, or you are wasting your time.
There’s no argument in favour of keeping TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any of the likes. Let’s go ahead and claim that you use them to learn. Unless posts are giving you new insights and you are further researching about the topic on your own, all you’re doing mindlessly scrolling for dopamine. And unless you are using the knowledge to take action, you are, again, doing it for the dopamine. Real learning doesn’t come from consuming short-format content.
LinkedIn though… Great for expanding your professional network, business, etc.
Now, someone will argue that there are a thousand ways to expand your professional network. Sure, I agree.
