I'm always surprised at the diversity of wildlife in my area but there're some species I've only encountered/photographed once since I purchased my 1st DSLR in 2021. In 2022, a huge flock of white pelicans passed through the area & they brought a smaller flock of double-crested cormorants w/ them. That was my one/only encounter with that species & I'd love to see/photograph them again.
