This morning, I start my 🧵 to report from my #NorthernEuropeTrainBike2024 trip and here is just the opening. Cycled about 1 km from my home to the station to take a sequence of regional trains to Geneva and beyond.

Lots of smiling people this morning, including the super-friendly contrôleuse of #SNCF and quite some people with bicycles.
