The U.S. government does not intend to proceed with a second trial. \n\nMany on bitcoin twitter are losing their minds over this, saying he’s getting away with it, especially on the campaign finance front. Unless I’m missing something, a huge reason for this seems that there is plenty to prosecute him on from his first shit show of a trial and no need to waste time? Would it really have made that much of a difference in sentencing/prison time? Where are my #nostr criminal lawyers?
