Troons being the equivalent of "the beautiful ones" has been my theory for a while, didn't they also display homosexual behavior? I remember some of the antisocial mice becoming prone to unwarranted violent outbursts.
It's a strange thing to think about. Is it some kind of hard biological switch shared across multiple animals? What triggers it? Population density, abundance of resources, lack of stress or lack of struggle to survive? It's unsettling to think about.
