Mods on reddit are going on strike against the platform. They’re turning their subreddits private in protest.
I doubt anybody at Reddit remembers the reason that Reddit ended up taking off was because of a similar user rebellion at Digg. Users can take collective action against platforms and if it takes off, either platform gives in or dies.
