Experiment with standalone ligtning wallets. If you don't know much, start with custodial LN wallets like coinos.io , [walletofsatoshi](https://www.walletofsatoshi.com/) is also really simple for starters. Send a tiny amount of sats to this new wallet of yours from primal wallet and play around.
Soon you'll realize you can live without primal wallet and maybe go to full self custody with [albyhub](https://albyhub.com/) or [Zeus](https://zeusln.com/) 😎
