You can definitely feel the stress that the influx of users are putting onto Pixelfed.social here the last few days.
While the site isn't unusable, it's considerably slower than it was prior to this huge influx of new users.
I've had my account there since the day I created it, and I have no plans to move it to a smaller instance as of right now. That might change if things get worse, though I don't think nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyqpq2tyk735v52ju032qahe3k2r520jlsujaem6xr8n0ex6u7eqj0anqgyasy0 (nprofile…asy0) will let that happen if he can avoid it.
It's good to see this influx of users though. Means the platform is growing, Pixelfed is getting some much needed attention and users are finding a new place to call home.
