I can't imagine thinking non-stop 24/7 that there are white supremacist death squads on every street corner that are on the verge of pulling them out of their houses/apartments and executing them. It's really sad.
I know that there some in the general public who don't like trans people at all, but as long as they don't live in the middle east, or Russia, or any other oppressive shithole, there's never been a more better time to be LGBT than now. Since acceptance in first world countries has sharply risen and will probably continue to rise as long as the sane ones in the movement can keep the mentally unwell ones in check.
