I often struggle with the balance between work (anything to generate more money) family and recreation/relaxation. If I knew my time was going to be drastically shorter than I expect I would probably through out most considerations for myself and do everything I can to make my families life better after I’m gone.
Alternatively if I knew my time was up in 40-60 years I don’t think much would change for me personally except for when that time got really close. Then it’ll be skydiving time 😆
“time is the only currency we spend without knowing our balance”
do you think our inability to know how much time we have left contributes to the pursuit of things like wealth, legacy, and meaning?
if you did know your time balance, would you care less about these pursuits, or would you double down on them?
