Some good answers, thanks! I went ahead and looked at the Threads listing in the Apple App store again and they link to the Meta privacy policy, which is interesting. Whole thing is gross. But as far as I can tell, when they talk about browsing history, etc., they seem to say it's info they get when you use their in-app browsers or functions. So that's marginally better than just stealing info from Chrome or whatever.
