A farmer who has an orchard in eastern Turkey has discovered a rare and largely intact mosaic while trying to plant a new tree. The mosaic, which covers an area of 84 square meters, features striking images of hunting scenes of animals such as the Anatolian leopard. Experts believe that this may be the largest mosaic of its kind to have been discovered in Turkey to date, dating back to the late Roman Empire period.
