Last day of our twins' summer holidays. A day at the Dorset seaside. The season is almost over, hardly anyone on the pebble beach. We have fish & chips. Weather drizzly and grey at first, then it brightens up.The girls go into the water, whilst I have my coffee, dog by my side. An opening of the clouds puts the spotlight onto the cliffs of the Isle of Wight in the distance. Everything is right, very low key. Tomorrow the girls start secondary school. An ending, a beginning.
