Grrr.... this is a problem.
You need tripod with at least 15x zoom lense ... with the moon just on the horizon... which magnifies it even more.
Then you get a decent picture, but the earth is turning, so it will probably have a little motion blur.
The whole situation makes multi-picture HDR photos of the moon (and stars and solar eclipses) near impossible.
