I remember posting my pubkey on pubkey servers and sending gpg enc email back and forth with friends over a decade ago.
nostr has taken that primitive use-case, built it into a realtime network, and made it infinitely extensible.
the rumor that a new keypair based social network that used relays was starting.
the fact that there are people i like here, as well as people who understand why a keypair based social network would be a good thing.
