I'm not sure I understand the question. I just meant that the larger the instance is the less likely it is everyone is going to agree on the right set of people/instances to block, so they're more likely to pick conservative or no lists. I was assuming rational admins. The right thing to do with shit admins is to name and shame and get people to move off. Something I think we do far too little of given how much damage those instances are able to do as people continue to sign up unaware of the history.

This is also why I say never invite anyone to "Mastodon" or "the Fediverse" but to a specific instance or a small number of choices. The average expected experience if they just pick an instance off joinmastodon.org is bad, and one should only subject people they dislike to that.
