Fadd, 1982. Perhaps in reaction to the brutalist architecture that dominated much of communist-era Hungary, this building, a wellness centre at the time in the village of Fadd near the Danube, reflects the so-called "organic" architecture movement that emerged in the 70s. It sought to integrate Hungarian folk and rural traditions with contemporary design and materials.
