The launch of ESA’s Proba-3 spacecraft by ISRO will now take place on Thursday.
Proba-3 is a mission to demonstrate high precision formation flying and to study the Sun’s inner corona.
Proba-3 consists of 2 spacecraft - the Coronagraph Spacecraft (CSC) and the Occulter Spacecraft (OSC), which will fly together in a 19.7 hour orbit. The OSC's 1.5m disk will eclipse the Sun and enable the CSC to observe the Sun’s corona for up to 6 hours per orbit.
