In Germany or in Czechia the incumbents DB and ČD still have to sell tickets like this - if a rival to them (like NationalExpress or Arriva) won a PSO contract
It’s only open access - like Flix or LeoExpress - that DB or ČD don’t sell
Imagine someone goes into a ticket office in Bordeaux, wants to go to Nice, it needs a change onto the TER at Marseille, and the ticket office can’t sell it..? 🤔
