Last night I went down the #Obsidian rabbit hole again.
I think I'll just use it for longer form reference material, as that kinda works for what I want anyway. I already do have a bunch of folders in Syncthing that do similar, but the ability to link between docs is... amazingly useful. I just make sure to change to markdown links instead of the short wiki links in settings, so it can be useful down the road if/when Obsidian disappears or I use something else.
I checked out #Logseq and it isn't as usable for what I want... it does deal with Obsidian.md files though due to how I set up the link structure, so will keep using Obsidian for now anyway 🤷
The one change I made was edit mode in obsidian is markdown, instead of previewing then markdown when you move into a section
So far so good... I probably just need a private #wiki though heh. This is basically what I'm using it for.
