IMO 1 point is more than enough, it'll end up at level 5+ with gear alone anyway. Points are probably better spent elsewhere.
My selection of endgame curses was Decrepify, Dim Vision, Iron Maiden (for bosses, high health mobs). Amp Dmg I mostly on Hell, as Decrepify has more utility with the slowing and enemy dmg reduction.
