As much as I despise Reddit, I implore those who are considering or curious to please go to the subreddit r/liberalgunowners and read all you can - including the wiki. They are good people, inclusive of all and are especially helpful to people who have never shot a gun or don’t know how to get started safely. Don’t be surprised if they like guns, including their new AR or handgun. They can tell you what to expect at a range.
