Submitting yourself to an ideology(even libertarian) is the most harmful thing you could do to yourself.
It's essentially turning your brain off and blurting out talking points, when challenged with contrarian view points.
A conversation which benefits both parties is had when both make an effort to understand each other.
Otherwise it's just a debate that helps no one.
