the stuff on sos pads (or brillo? idk) has to give you cancer, right?
i have an air fryer instant pot, i use the stainless liner as directed, hadn't really scrubbed the liner in a couple years, i hit it with soap and water once a week and degreaser every so often. But it was still brown and orange grease patina, like a well worn cookie sheet. SOS pad + 7 minutes it's stainless silver over 99% area now.
pretty impressive. i only sweat a bit (it's 94F with 61% humidity so we dyin)
