Life on an SRE team for a big media company: Our C-suite is paranoid about AI crawlers stealing our content for their models, so they're making us meet and run a trial with a company that claims to protect against LLM content theft. I'm annoyed that we have to do the work of implementing the trial ... because blocking the major crawlers is something we already do. This is why we have an SRE team.
