Hmmm.... you'll recall a recent post on the 25% of workers sailed with non-compete contracts in an attempt to curtail who can employ them when they change jobs.... well interestingly the US Federal Trade Commission has just voted to confirm that it will act to ban non-compete clauses in employment contracts, citing their role in wage suppression & stifling innovation.
Now wouldn't it be great if the UK Govt. would take similar action.... but it won't, despite having an open consultation on it!
