It’s weird culture wars
If you believe that more decentralization in Bitcoin is good, and that Bitcoin is a free market driven, permissonless database that yes overwhelmingly is for financial transactions
Then this argument (and reason behind it) for removing the op_return limit and purity contest is bullshit, imo.
