Is that really a fair comparison? Because in the analogy of an overflowing tub, you still need the water, you just have way too much.
Climate change is way more complex than a running bathtub, and that's only complicated further when the green initiatives are consistently more expensive than the fossil fuels.
If you live 20 miles from work, you can't realistically commute by bike, for example.
Cut back every way possible, but ending fossil fuels isn't going to happen soon.
