#WritersCoffeeClub Aug 28: Do you incorporate poems, songs, or letters in your work? How do you format them?
A couple of times, yes. Once, I had a poet in a scene reciting a (total bullshit) story of my protagonist. He was there, so I quoted him, but I broke up his quotes with my protagonist's bitter commentary on his lies. Once, I quoted from social media and put it in italics for lack of a better option, and I once put a small note in italics for the same reason.
