Here's a use for AI that would be fantastic: cleaning up and enhancing old recordings.
The Internet Archive is more than 400K unrestored recordings it would like to see cleaned up using AI (with 1600 examples of human restored recordings). It'd be amazing if these were restored and preserved for audiences today and in the future.
