IDK, God made the hair to grow there for some reason.
And now for some reason it is so icky.
I think it is a bit goofy to say hairy armpits on women are gross, as long as a woman showers regularly it shouldn't matter.
A hundred years ago every woman had hairy armpits, no one said, eww, gross back then.
I have gotten used to hairless armpits, but if no one sees them, you don't think about it at all.
