i appreciate your clarity of logic and the thought re burning the coin was particularly interesting. Only other time I heard of destruction as a solution was re oversupply of apartments in China (sort of "crazy" but seems effective as it gets to the root cause)
We're dreaming or hoping (best case) the gov does the right thing. i'd settle for some happy medium whereby some coins are burned, some are maintained by gov as hedge (i mean even if gov does bad things at times we, at the very least, need a minarchy night-watch type system) and puts majority in a trust which goes to organization that enhances most productivity (through AI, manufacturing improvements, etc which should help all humans) that's voted upon and measured either by btc holders or open source AI. Although even that could probably be gamed....
