Your reasoning that we must obey the law until the law is changed means that you would be willing to actively participate in genocides codified in law.
Thin consolation for those that die that you'll vote against it and happily stop once it gets enough votes.
You seem unwilling to or incapable of reasoning from a moral principle to the broader outcomes of truly living by that principle.
If you are adamant that you would not participate in legal genocides then you must admit you don't truly believe we should always obey current law.. Those ideas are in clear conflict.
