it’s not legalized federally in the US but many states have made it legal. In Canada you can fly domestic with weed in your carry-on; which you would get arrested for in America.
No need to grow male plants. With a medicinal license you can apply to grow more than 4. All this said, most stoners still buy from the black market which has just expanded since legalization. Also Canada = short grow season so we would typically use a controlled set up like a grow tent.
