Higher temperatures means more water in the atmosphere. More water and energy in the atmosphere means more extreme events, including intense rainfall. And the extreme events impact our water resources. St. Petersburg has just lost its entire water supply and shut down its wastewater treatment plans due to #HurricaneMilton.
