I've been rockin' Aqara HomeKit Secure Video (HKSV) cameras for a while now. They offer from 2K - 4K video, and video is saved both to iCloud and to the device's micro SD card. It works great.
My only complaint is that HKSV is limited to 1080p. Considering that I already pay for the iCloud storage, and that facial recognition & motion detection are performed by my own Apple devices, this seems pretty weird to me.
Why is HKSV resolution limited to less than 4K in 2025?
