honestly im split on the nerd recognition. i feel validated bc it gives lip service to my hobbies and interests which might get new people in the fandom, i just dont want it to be exploited by the adult equivalent of being the baby with keys being jangled in front of my face to distract me.
like you know damn well nerds have a better portrayal entirely due to them being some of the biggest adult consumers and nothing else.
like i want more people to get interested in what i like. not to murder my wallet
