TIL: There's no way to block a user from responding to your questions on StackOverflow. The only option is to 'flag' their comments, but that is for 'this user is breaking the rules' rather than 'this user is being annoying and I don't want to engage with them' (in the same way that I can walk away from someone annoying at a conference, without asking the organisers to kick them out).
